The 25-year-old world No.10 has played a tournament in the city in the build-up to Wimbledon for the last five years.
And, as tickets for this year's event go on sale, it has been confirmed she is set to make it six in a row this June.
"The tournament in Nottingham is very well supported and I always enjoy my time there," said Konta, who will go on to play at the Aegon Classic Birmingham and Aegon International Eastbourne after Nottingham.
Rebecca James, the Aegon Open Nottingham Tournament Director, is delighted that Konta is the first name confirmed for a new-look week-long tournament from June 10-18, which for the first time will be staged alongside a men's $150,000 ATP Challenger Tour event.
