It is best to park first before entering Mercure Nottingham City Centre Hotel. Due to our prime city centre Lace Market location, access to the front of the hotel is sometimes restricted due to a semi-pedestrianised system.

Street Parking

Street parking is also available near Mercure Nottingham City Centre Hotel and, during certain hours, you can take advantage of on street meter parking in Nottingham. George Street, at the front of the hotel, is the closest but only has a few spaces. Heathcoat Street is behind the hotel and has many more Nottingham parking spaces.

Blue Badge Parking

If you have a disabled badge or a ‘blue badge’, you will find many blue badge parking spaces in Nottingham on Thurland Street NG1 3BT. Thurland Street is only two minutes’ walk or 100 metres from Mercure Nottingham City Centre Hotel. Free parking on streets can be enjoyed between 10pm and 8am. Outside of these hours, the free parking in Nottingham ends and you will need to pay £2.40 per hour. Please do however check all signs on street before leaving your car to confirm you are parking in a free area and all restrictions that apply.

Pick Up & Drop Off

If you want to drop anyone off at the hotel before parking in Nottingham, as Broad Street is closed most of the day and there is a one-way system. You can take a right onto Old Lenton Street, turn left onto George Street (against the one-way system) and drive and park in the white hash lines ( / / / / ) that you will see upon the road once you turn right. You can then unload passengers and luggage, make a “U” turn and go to find parking in Nottingham.
