Fantastic overnight visit

Visited this fabulous hotel with my son to watch Jake Bugg (he was fab too)
The hotel is perfectly placed for shops, bars, restaurants. The decor is lovely, reception warm and inviting and staff friendly, fun and efficient.
We had a great night, comfy beds, spacious bathroom and nice products. Highly recommend 😍

Marvellous Mercure

Only stayed here for a short one night. On arrival the reception area was clean and tidy with welcoming staff. I liked the quirky suitcase lights. A good size lift to our 3rd floor room which was a 'Standard King'. A spacious room with double aspect and three windows letting in plenty of light. Also a choice of Air Con or a Heater. The area was clean and tidy. Did not get chance to use Alexa, however the other amenities, WIFI, TV, Kettle, etc were all good. The bed was for me very comfortable and I slept well. Check out was easy and the staff great.
There was one small issue that I forgot to mention to the staff (apologies to the next occupants) is that the sink was very slow to empty.
I didn't have breakfast so cannot give an opinion om this.
Regarding car parking, I opted for the Victoria Centre as it was easy to get to with ample spaces in a clean and well lit area. I did leave the car there for 24 hours and I thought that was quite reasonable for City Parking.
If I visit Nottingham city centre again the Mercure would definitely be on my list.

Very helpful staff and maintenance team even gave me some batteries I required for my job ! Thanks all!

the property is located near the station. 5 mins in a taxi and next to lots of great restaurants and bars.
