"While understanding there was construction at the site,the stay was great. Close to everything. It was so comfortable actually slept a full 12 hours. Haven't done that in years. Staff was very helpful and gracious. Gave us good advice on places to eat."

Loved this quirky hotel. Made a change from the everyday corporate hotel where all the rooms, facilities etc are always identical. The bedroom was compact but excellent, with all the little extra's you come to expect in a hotel room, including biscuits with the tea/coffee facilities. Loved the individual decor, including the slopping floor and a lovely comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious, with a good selection of items both hot and cold. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre of the city with everything close to hand. Will definitely be staying there again.
Great value, location and cleanliness with fantastic staff.
I love the location, it’s in a perfect area which is ideal for everything I want to do when in nottingham. The rooms are always clean, the staff are always friendly and the breakfast has a good selection of bit. To top it off, the price is excellent too, I have for many years and will remain staying at the Mercure when I spend the night in Nottingham.
Amazing friendly staff
Great reception from staff at all times when visiting the hotel. Met with friendly Vinay and Bruno Great service provided by the young gentleman at breakfast. Darren we think. Friendly Peter on reception on our departure. Hotel, despite renovations was very nice, even the workmen were friendly and offered us good morning. Room good and extremely reasonably priced. We will definitely return to this central hotel in the future.

Lovely design, rooms were really well furnished, and staff were very friendly. Had some work being done on the outside of the building but we had no issues with noise. Signs were up informing you about what hours the building work starts and provided you with ear plugs- really had thought of everything!

Perfect location
Loved this hotel, location is fabulous, right in the middle of Nottingham centre and near to shops, bars etc. I’ve stayed here twice and would highly recommend. Bed comfortable, hotel nice and clean, staff friendly and helpful, left our luggage there in holding on final day, they booked us a taxi to station. Only downside is the lift is out of order

I travel to Nottingham for business twice a year and always stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the old district with lots of restaurants, shopping, and little music venues. It's right on the tram line (one stop from the train/bus station) making it convenient with a suitcase. The place has charm and the staff has always been courteous and efficient. ...
