Amazing 1 night stay!
The team at Mercure Nottingham was absolutely fantastic. I called a few days before to ask for them to help me with a surprise for my husband and they really nailed it. They made the stay very special and even upgraded us upon arrival.
The building was very old (so cool) but renovated so it wasn't outdated or odd smelling.
I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Nottingham. It is in a great location with loads of bars and restaurants right on the doorstep.

Best stay in Nottingham
We spent a lovely couple of nights at Mercure Nottingham. Very central, superb location with everything you could possibly need within a 5 mins walking distance. Stylish hotel where you can just feel history reverberating from its walls. Nice breakfast, clean rooms and super comfy beds. Staff is extremely nice, especially Sabrin who made sure we had all our needs met. Would come back any time. Thank you!
Fantastic stay.
Great hotel in close proximity to bars and restaurants, 5 minute walk to the arena, the reason we stayed. Staff were really helpful and accommodated our early check in and any other requests we had. Will definitely stay here again if ever in Nottingham. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious!
The only hotel for us when staying in Nottingham
When staying in Nottingham the Mercure Nottingham city centre is the only accommodation we choose to stay at :-)

Great stay in the city
We stayed here during the weekend after attending a wedding in the city centre.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean and the staff upon arrival were kind and helpful and check in was very easy.
Our room was lovely, and the bed was super comfy and the addition of the complimentary drinks was a great touch.
You could hear people out on the streets but it is a city centre with a big student population so I don’t think you should be surprised by that, they do provide complimentary earbuds if you struggle with noise outside which is a good idea.
Breakfast was nice, what you expect from a hotel buffet style and check out was easy we just gave our room keys to the lady at the desk and they also validate parking.We had a very pleasant stay here and would return here and to other mecure hotels in the future

It is in the centre so expected it to be noisy, but not so.

Amazing staff and location
Stayed for two nights with my son. When we arrived at the hotel the staff were amazing, so friendly. They joked with us and made is feel right at home, nothing seemed to much for them. The room was great and fully prepared, it was very clean and we had the lovely touch of some refreshments in our fridge. Ear plugs were supplied due to the location of the hotel being so central to all the entertainment in Nottingham. We loved the room. Breakfast was Delicious the staff serving were amazing. This hotel is a great credit to the Mercure chain. I would not hesitate to return or recommend it to my friends and family.
Fantastic hotel
Only stayed the one night but the staff were excellent very friendly and well presented. The hotel was very clean and had a modern vintage feel to it. To say its the oldest hotel in Nottingham you wouldnt be able to tell its got all the mod cons and nicely decorated throughout. Breakfast was amazing from all you can eat continental to full english and the first floor restaurant was nicely situated in the corner of the building making it light and spacious. The only thing i would complain about is that it had only one lift but it wasnt really a problem.. situated in the centre of nottingham ten minutes walk to motorpoint arena and rock city.... Excellent Hotel, Five stars all day long*****
Graduation visit
Lovely time , really lovely old building with oddles of character . Subrine, and all the staff were so friendly , attentive and caring . Our room was so lovely , with beautiful decor and amazingly comfortable super king size bed , complimentary drinks in the fridge and a really good coffee machine which is always a bonus 😁.
The bar was very intimately furnished with beautiful tea light candles , cosy chairs surrounding a beautiful ‘real look ‘ fire place . Very homely and cosy .
Breakfast was very hearty , with plenty to choose from , sausage , bacon , beans , choice of scrambled egg or fried , beans , hash browns and mushrooms and tomatoes . And also pastries , croissants and cereals . Service was excellent .
Very central location , and 1 minute away from free disabled parking . Lots of lovely shops and restaurants near by , highly recommend the tapas round the corner 👏.
