Weekend to Remember
From the moment we stepped in off the pavement Chris and his team couldn’t do enough for us. Check in was so simple, we had phoned ahead of arrival because we were experiencing traffic problems, but the young lady on reception put us right to ease by telling us not to worry, and everything was just fine. We arrived, and by this time there was a gentleman on reception who knew exactly who we were and gave us our key cards and loads of useful information regarding where to eat and drink which was really helpful. We were greated the following morning by happy smiling restaurant staff who promptly waited on us with Tea/coffee and were very efficient. Breakfast was well presented with cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt or everything you need for a full English which you can help yourself too . As we returned to our room after breakfast we had been left fresh towels tea/coffee/sugar/milk outside our door (we had left dnd card out), which was a nice touch. All in all our stay at the Mercure was excellent!! Thank you Chris & Team for making our weekend really special!!
Excellent location and amazing decor
Outstanding hotel, central location, bar downstairs, contemporary decor rooms
Well located hotel.
Easy to book, easy check in / out. Twin room was good for our needs. Good shower. Central location. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops in short walking distance. Near to carparks. Handy for the tram. We have stayed twice and would stay again.
Well located for our plans.
Easy check in / out. Room was good for our needs. Have stayed before, would stay again.

Very Good
Nice traditional hotel with character and original features in the heart of Lace market area. Great location and surrounding.
Great location for the arena.
I took my teenage daughters to a concert at the arena. The hotel was only 5 mins from the venue, 5 mins from the main shopping area and 15 mins from the railway station (all on foot). The hotel was comfy and staff super friendly.
Perfect central hotel
9 friends were at this hotel for a birthday celebration. We were greeted by a lovely chap when we arrived slightly early but he found some of our rooms were ready and checked us in so we could leave our bags and carry on either our festivities. The rooms were really great. We were in a twin room which was nicely decorated with all the amenities you would expect. Nice toiletries provided in the small bathroom. This was well appointed but very hot as the towel rail was on full blast. Breakfast was included and there is excellent choice which is readily replenished. It was a tasty choice which set us up for the day. The people working here were great and really nice and nothing was a bother for them. Overall this hotel has great character, is in a great location with all the staff being welcoming and doing a great job. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Nottingham.
Great hotel, great staff, great bfast, great location
Room was adequate for my needs and had all the in room facilities I required. Bed was comfortable and I had a great sleep, ear plugs ( provided ) were not required, I was in room 317 and heard no noise at all. Location was perfect for me and one of the reasons I picked this hotel
