Great stay at Mercure Nottingham in the city centre.
The look of the hotel was amazing; very quirky with jazzy colours and beautiful decorations. The room was the perfect size for two, and the bed was so comfortable! The location was great as well, central and close to everything, and the staff was very friendly.
Great Stay
Stayed in March to visit the Ice Hockey Arena. Great Hotel, interesting building and nicely presented. Very good location in the centre of the city, comfortable bedroom, very friendly staff and lovely breakfast
Lovely staff, very good food
Staff so helpful, Gemma, Katarina, Karolina, Sofia, Dominik all great. Food also very good indeed, 3 course-excellent choices. Not 5-rating as rooms too snug with nil storage. However beds large and extremely comfortable, and bathroom fine, so balanced out. We were a large party (27) so confident that this was a common assessment all round.

We was upgraded to a suit. The room was amazing the staff were extremely friendly and above all helpful and polite.
Great hotel and service
We asked for a few drinks in the room on ice and we had it when we checked in..... Av stayed in many top hotels and my stay here was 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ we will be back in the summer. Great bed, great shower and great area.

We got a free upgrade to a suite which was really nice 👍🏻😊 we were greeted by a spacious and luxurious room with the most eccentric decor I’ve experienced in a hotel recently! The only way to describe it is if all the characters in Alice in Wonderland were changed to dogs. 🙂 it was clean and well organised with plenty of facilities in the room. There is a choice of either a foam or feather pillow which was a really nice touch because I prefer feather and my boyfriend hates them! The bath was huge but remember to bring your own bubbles! Other than that, the Alexa didn’t link to our phones as the instructions said it did but we didn’t really mind enough to ask reception to help so I can’t fault them there. On that note as well the reception staff were really nice and helpful. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend!!
In all a good place to stay, breakfast was good, nice coffee served, bed comfortable.
The room was inviting, temperature was just right. I found everything I needed, tho having stayed at another Mercure hotel recently I noticed then that the tea and coffee was in the wardrobe ( which we only found by accident ) and lo and behold the same with this room. The location was exactly where I needed to go.
Gorgeous building with great location.
Great location within walking distance of Arena and car parks, building was beautiful. Built in 1800's and decorated with this in mind, comfy beds, friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with great sausuages!
It's worth staying here
Peter, Darren, Chris and the rest of the team were attentive, fun and provided incredible service. We were lucky enough to stay in the suite and it was impressive - fitted into the unique character of this hotel very well. Breakfast offered everything that you could require in a buffet style, was tasty and filled us up for the day. Staying here for our wedding in June and very much looking forward to it. Pub next door with access from the hotel is always going to be positive. There is a gym that looks great, but looking at it from the window was enough for a very welcoming stay. Location great for central Nottingham and all it has to offer
