The Thrillers Season has been a stalwart of the Theatre Royal’s summer calendar for over 25 years, and 2019’s season promises to be as tense and terrifying as ever. Enter these shadowy worlds where blackmail, murder and revenge abound: a mysterious doll sparks a deadly game of cat and mouse in Wait Until Dark (30th July – 3rd August); murder and deception abound in Francis Durbridge’s excellent Murder with Love (6th – 10th August); a marriage turned sour provides the hilarious basis for comedy thriller Anybody for Murder (13th – 17th August); and obsessive, revenge-filled John Barratt causes devastating chaos in psychological thriller Dangerous Obsession (20th – 24th August).
