This year’s Pride Month parade and subsequent parties and events happening in and around the Nottingham takes place on 30th July 2022.
Last year’s celebration
Although plans are still being finalised for this month’s pride celebration in Nottingham, we take this time to reminisce about last year’s event and anticipate what to expect this year. 2021 brought us a vibrant and colourful parade that featured two marching bands, inspiring speeches and performances we’ll surely not forget any time soon.
Beginning at Albert Square, the parade ensured it included as much of the city as possible as it progressed from the Square and ended on Pelham Street so that as many people could enjoy the experience and support the LGBTQ+ community.
Wondering what to do after the parade to celebrate Pride month in Nottingham is finished? Our wonderful friends at Nottingham Contemporary are hosting the biggest and boldest afterparty in town! You can expect no less than nine performances, a special TV guest appearance & five DJ’s all for the exceptionally reasonable price of £10!
This promises to be a hugely diverse and inclusive event showcasing some of the best queer underground performers and DJs all under one roof!
Want to party but trying to save the pennies? Rough Trade have got you covered as they present an afternoon of live music and DJs courtesy of LGBTQ+ club-night Gladrags to soundtrack your Notts Pride day with FREE ENTRY celebrations from 12pm until 6pm.
This event is a 14+ event so please consider this when attending.
