Nottingham Comedy Festival is back in November
Returning for it’s most impressive fourteenth year, the Nottingham Comedy Festival (NCF) is back and will run from Friday 4 – Saturday 12th November.
Set to feature a wide array of comedy ranging from stand-up, improv, sketch shows, musical comedy and much more. Comedians from all over the world will take to the stages over the fourteen host venues across the city.
As the festival has grown through the years it has been able to branch out to accept all forms of comedy, showing a tenacity and adaptivity that has proven very successful. Over the years shows have taken place in a wide variety of venues including theatres, bars, cafes and restaurants, across both Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The aim of the Comedy Festival is to combine the talent of brand new comedians to the veterans of the art form whilst giving everyone the chance to enjoy comedy whether partaking or spectating.
Since its inception in 2009 the Nottingham Comedy Festival has been sponsored by local brewery Castle Rock.
Castle Rock is a brewery and pub group based in Nottingham. They’ve been running pubs since 1977 and brewing beer since 1998. They’re passionate about bringing tradition and innovation together. One week you’ll find them brewing a traditional bitter, and the next concocting a juicy, hoppy session IPA or an ice cream beer. Castle Rock pubs are unique venues, from traditional countryside boozers to city centre craft havens, and everything in between. But the main aim remains the same in every venue: to create a friendly, welcoming pub and serve high quality beer.
