Nottingham Summer Cinema Nights

Nottingham Summer Cinema Nights

Right in the heart of Nottingham, and only three miles from us at the Mercure Nottingham, sits Wollaton Hall and Deer Park – a spectacular Elizabethan mansion with ample, beautiful grounds. This summer, see this stunning location transformed into a trendy outdoor cinema: join the party under the stars, and experience your favourite flicks like never before!

The cinematic extravaganza runs from 7th to 9th May, showing Downton Abbey (7th May), Grease (8th May) and this year’s Oscar sensation The Joker (9th May). Doors open at 6.30pm, with films starting around 8.40pm, half an hour after sunset, so there’s plenty of time to set up a scrumptious picnic and enjoy a glass of bubbles before the drama begins! If you want to make a whole day of it, Wollaton Hall houses Nottingham’s Natural History Museum – well worth a look if you’ve a few spare hours in the afternoon, before snuggling down for an idyllic summer’s evening.

Whether you’re looking for fun for all the family this May bank holiday, or a different night out with friends, these cinematic Summer Nights will be stellar in every sense of the word! Best of all, with Wollaton Hall right on our doorstep, you couldn’t be more perfectly placed when you stay with us. Why not make a weekend of it, too? Enjoy three consecutive days of cinema magic, whilst also making the most of the buzzing town centre and vibrant night-life on our doorstep. We’re sure you’ll love Nottingham as much as we do by the time you leave!
